The Closing:
We sold May 11/18 short strangle on 4/4/2013 for $62 per contract.
The stock closed within the range by the closing bell on the 3rd
Friday in May. Both short options expire worthless and we collect $62 per
contract profit for this trade. This is the ideal case for short strangle
strategy. The market closes the trade for us. We don’t even need to buy
back our short options.
